Plasma-Activated Liquids (PAL) technology has been recognized for its potential to reduce microbial contamination and chemical use, and to be developed into real-world applications across a wide range of industries.
Plasma Innovation Co., Ltd. has received the Grand Winner award, the competition’s top prize, at TECH PLANTER in Thailand 2026, following its presentation and technical discussions with the judging panel throughout Demo Day.
In the competition, the company presented its Plasma-Activated Liquids (PAL) technology under the concept “Plasma-Activated Liquids for Microbial Reduction and Low-Chemical Processing”.
PAL uses plasma to generate active components within a liquid, helping to reduce microbial contamination while lowering the reliance on chemicals in a variety of processes. This gives the technology potential applications across many sectors, from food safety, agriculture and healthcare to manufacturing processes that need an effective and sustainable approach to microbial control.
The judges recognized PAL for its commercial potential, its capacity to be developed into real-world use, and its opportunity to create a positive impact on industry and society.
